VINIBUONI D'ITALIA TCI 2010:

The highest score: four red stars for both wines!

A great surprise was the project of the Rubinelli family winning favor with two products of big impact to the senses. Richness of extracts but also big search of balance. The amarone presents good complexity to the smell showing all the characters of the typical fruit of the classical area, the cherry, the blueberry with a nice freshness also in the spice, slightly peppery.
In the mouth it is rounded with a velvety tannin and a good wittiness. Down to earth but elegant. The valpolicella superiore is well balanced, fine in the bouquets with a nice minerality. Pleasant sensation of fine herbs, thyme, rosemary and liquorice gentle on the palate.
